How These Numbers Are Built
The campaign roster is the 90% denominator.
Intent recorded on the campaign roster counts toward 90% — self-reported
plus recorded another way. People with intent outside the campaign cut
stay visible on the Full Dashboard, not in this number.
Total disaster responders is the bigger file and the left-hand tile, not
the 90% denominator.
The 90% Goal
Progress uses — of
— campaign responders — all recorded
intent, — today. That is the
thermometer and the red 90% bar.
Total Disaster Responders
The national file is larger than the campaign. This count is the bigger
file. It is not the 90% denominator.
Responders In The Campaign
— people have deployed at least once and still
hold a deployable job other than DAT or DDO. That campaign roster is the
90% denominator.
Last Deployment Date
Responded means the Last assigned date on the Volunteer Connection roster
— the last DRO or deployment — not campaign eligibility.
What A Responder Actually Has To Do
- Sign In To Volunteer ConnectionWith their Red Cross ID email and password.
- Open The DCS Responder Pagevolunteerconnection.redcross.org/?nd=pg_profile_dcs_responder
- Click Edit GAP & Responder IntentA faint gray button, top right of the card. Almost everyone stops here.
- Set Intent On Every JobThe primary job is the one the campaign counts.
- Save, Then ConfirmBoth steps are required for the record to exist.
Where The Data Comes From
Six division exports arrive from Volunteer Connection each morning and are
validated before anything is published. Everything on this page is an aggregate
count. No member records leave the private source directory.

standings, the status breakdown, and the full-roster view.
Maintainer Files
Report and deck are rebuilt every morning from the same aggregates the page
reads, so the slides cannot disagree with the site.
